Brush, Tree, and Shrub Drop Off

Location

           Laureldale residents are permitted to use the Muhlenberg Township’s designated drop-off site located at 3105 Reading Crest Ave., right off of Rt. 61 to dispose of yard waste. 

Materials Accepted

           Tree trimmings or shrubbery 18” in diameter or less and no more than 10’ in length, free from nails, wire etc. Not more than 10’ in length. Tree stumps accepted; root balls must have all dirt/rocks removed. Leaves, garden trimmings, sticks, shrubbery clippings and tree trimmings only (no plastic bags). Sod, dirt & rocks can be dropped off but not ON the main brush pile. Tree Stumps will be accepted, but root balls must have all dirt and rocks removed.

Unaccepted materials

           Commercial / Residential trash, grass clippings, pressure treated materials, pallets, lumber, Railroad ties, dirt, paint, construction debris, plastics and metal. No commercial business or landscape company drop-offs, there are no exceptions.

Permitted Facility Users

           Residents and property owners of Laureldale Borough by Key Fob which can be obtained by contacting Laureldale Borough Office at 610-929-8700 during business hours. Key fobs are distributed with a $25 security deposit and proof of residency. The deposit will be returned upon return of the Key Fob.

Current Brush Drop Off Hours

           Residents who obtain key fobs can drop off at the Muhlenberg site any day of the week 8am-8pm.
